About Me

I am a PhD student at IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca, working in the Dynamical Systems, Control, and Optimization (DYSCO) research unit. My research focuses on machine learning and optimization — exploring how smart algorithms can solve real-world engineering problems.

Previously I worked as a Research Engineer at Garrett Advancing Motion and as a Modelling and Simulation Engineer at Skydweller Aero, applying numerical optimization and control techniques to automotive and aerospace systems.

Beyond research, I enjoy breaking down complex ideas and experimenting with hands-on projects, from robotics and Arduino builds to fermentation science.
